World Leprosy Day 2023

In 2023, World Leprosy Day is Sunday 29 January. World Leprosy Day always takes place on the last Sunday of January every year. This date was chosen by French humanitarian, Raoul Follereau as a tribute to the life of Mahatma Gandhi, who did much work with persons affected by leprosy and died at the end of January 1948.

As the world marks the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, The Leprosy Mission Nigeria is calling on the Nigerian Government, Civil Society Organizations and other leaders to join the global movement to ensure the inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities, in order to achieve an inclusive society in a post COVID-19 world.

2021 ANNUAL COUNTRY LEARNING (ACL) REVIEW

The Annual Country Learning (ACL) review for The Leprosy Mission Nigeria was held at Brookeville Hotel & Suite, Gaduwa Abuja from Monday 8th – 12th November 2021.
