World Leprosy Day 2023 was a momentous occasion marked by The Leprosy Mission Nigeria (TLMN) through a series of impactful activities aimed at raising public awareness and fostering discussions on innovative strategies to eliminate leprosy in Nigeria
Working with and assisting the Finance Manager in all financial responsibilities.
A core priority for The Leprosy Mission Nigeria is the strengthening of health systems for better delivery of health care to not only persons affected by leprosy but persons with disabilities.
In 2023, World Leprosy Day is Sunday 29 January. World Leprosy Day always takes place on the last Sunday of January every year. This date was chosen by French humanitarian, Raoul Follereau as a tribute to the life of Mahatma Gandhi, who did much work with persons affected by leprosy and died at the end of January 1948.
